Karaoke comes to Coleman, Texas and surrounding areas as time and distance allow.

Karaoke means "empty orchestra" in Japanese, but it is better described as "Vacant microphone in lead singer position".

To participate, attend a karaoke show, pick a song, tell the KJ (for Karaoke rather than Disc Jockey) and wait to be called. All the music and background singers will play, the lyrics will be displayed on the TV, and the microphone is on, and ALL YOURS!

Mickey (our head pencil-sharpener) experienced karaoke when it came to Dallas back in 1992, then moving to Abilene, bought the first commercial karaoke unit in Abilene, Texas and opened a little recording studio. You might have seen her at the West Texas Fair and Rodeo, or at Trade Days in Post, Texas. Mickey quit being a KJ the day her real estate license arrived in 1996. It was an Income over Passion decision.

Here we are, 27 years later, she has retired from Real Estate, and bought the latest and greatest technology Karaoke unit. It is a Passion over Income decision. So we ask you...
